(Echolink Command Summary)
This was the first UHF repeater in the groups stable and has now been decommissioned. It was sited 6 miles ESE of Kilmarnock town centre, near the village of Galston. Its coverage area was intended to be South Ayrshire, but results showed that places as far away as Drumchapel in NW Glasgow and Dailly near Girvan are able to access this repeater. The repeater ran 10 watts into a 5db dual-band colinear.
The repeater GB3WA at Dalry is expected to cover some of the area previously covered by GB3KA.
